MEET YOUR SKEPTICAL SAGE
WHO WE ARE
Our Founder, Natalie Chavez was a lifelong perfectionist, driven by overachievement, accomplishment, and competition. Until one day she woke up completely blind. She was shocked to learn that, unbeknownst to her, she had survived a stroke. She now lives with permanent partial blindness and brain damage. Natalie began her pursuit of mental health treatment in 2010, which has included a wide array of widely recognized modalities including EMDR, CBT, and DBT, but she could not find relief for her PTSD and depression. She was reluctantly introduced to sound baths by a friend, in 2023, and has never looked back. She left her 25-year career, as a former mental health therapist, behavioral coach, and college professor to establish FLOR institute.
Natalie fights her tendency to overanalyze how homeopathic healing works because she knows, it just does. A “sage” is a person with wisdom. Coming full circle, Natalie created FLOR Institute, based on what she learned from serving thousands of people in her career and through her own healing. Let her bring mindfulness to you, as you embark on your own journey to be present, open up, and do what matters to you most.
